It’s been an on again-off again frustrating day.
1. My thermos didn’t, as earlier mentioned, get quite as well rinsed as it might have last time it was washed. I tried to con Briggs into coming and getting me and taking me to Starbucks, but he said he needed to *sleep* or something silly like that. So, junkie that I am, I forced myself to chug lemony-fresh tea. Eww. I don’t even like *real* lemon in my tea, much less lemon-scented soap.

2. Carol pulled us each aside individually today to get a rundown on what our jobs are, just so she has a clear idea of what we each do and who is who’s superior. (why didn’t she already know this?) After talking to me about what my job is, she then proceeded to talk to me about what an art director’s assistant does. Basically, she’s the company’s art director, and if I can fit it into my schedule, since I have artistic knowledge and skill and know what a JPG and TIFF are, she wanted to know if I would be interested in being her assistant. This is something interesting to break up the monotony of my invoice-entering work-day AND be something career related that could go on a resume.
She offered me this really cool chance on THE DAY I was putting in my 2- week notice. Of course.

3. Um…other stuff…customers were annoying…I think I was high on dishsoap…I had a *lot* of invoices to enter today…
4. Our washing machine takes a freaking DAY to go through a cycle. I put in a load shortly after getting home. It’s now almost 7pm and last I checked (not long ago) it still wasn’t done. Briggs says that ‘if I don’t put it on the extra wash setting it won’t take so long’. Well, maybe I want my clothes extra clean!

5. My boyfriend has been giving me a hard time about everything today. He’s cruisin’ for a bruisin’.

6. Although I found out it is *not* too late to send in my financial aid stuff, there are a number of items in the packet that I am hesitant to sign before speaking to someone from the school…the way they are written, they sound a little like, ‘send this in and commit automatically to a student loan without the chance to survey your other options’. So I wasn’t able to get very far on my info.
When Gino and Tony come talk to me, I want it to be on *my* terms.

7. I have been typing like a retard today.
8. We were going to get food from Gary Chu’s — we picked out what we wanted and everything — and it turns out that they are closed on mondays.
(closest I could find to an image of Martini Prawns)
…however…
A couple people *might* be interested in buying my car. Someone is actually wanting to come look at it tomorrow. YAY!

Um…new Heroes tonight!

We *are* having Chinese food from China Bowl.

AANNDDDDDD….my laundry might be done by now, so I should go check so I can hang it before Briggs gets back with the food.
