Thank the freaking lord

Friday.  At last.

Which is a funny thing to say, since this week has actually gone pretty darn fast. But yesterday felt like a Friday and I’m just glad this one really is.  :)

I made my tea way too sweet this morning.

I am going to have to spend the majority of my day toting stuff around the warehouse again.  That sucks *so* hard.

Tonight is girls night at Heather’s.  I need to remember to call my mom and let her know…

Heather wants to do a clothing swap but I haven’t even had the chance to glance at my closet in the last few days other than to grab something to wear in the morning, so I’ll probably just have to be the peanut gallery.  Which is fine.  :)

I’m giving my favorite Starbucks their comic tonight.  (remember?  http://www.soverydark.com/?p=10#comments)

It has been a science week for me.

To start with, there was the discovery of a new planet: Earth-like,  potentially habitable if we can get there, orbiting a sun a bit smaller and dimmer than our own.  So, a planet with, probably a slightly cooler median temperature than our own, but considering how good we are at making planets warmer, that shouldn’t be a problem.  ;)   It is about 20 light years away from us, which, cosmically speaking, is really very close.

I have also been watching a series of video lectures on Particle Physics, given by this professor from …somewhere in Colorado.  His basic goal was to do a course overview of the field minus the math.  He’s funny and dorky and the kind of teacher I would love to have.  I’ve been really enjoying it so far.

Come on, caffeine!  Work!

Anyway, I have a huge, towering stack in my inbox since I spent the majority of yesterday in the warehouse, and since I’m probably going to do the same again today, I should try to get at least a little of it done before I head back out.

My brain is really really not functioning yet.

My hands typed this on their own.

I’m probably going to come back later, read it and be surprised.
