There aren’t many things more traumatic than finding an old diary from one’s early teens. It’s like, ‘wow…did I actually WRITE that?’

Request for Photos
So, in my packing, I found a photo album my mom gave me. It’s adorable, and has a kitten on it and ties with a ribbon…and I was totally flumoxed as to what to do with it, as all of my photos and such are in digital format.
Then I had an idea.
I would love to have photos of my homies in it, so when I’m feeling homesick and depressed, I can make myself feel worse by looking at pics of me and my friends back home being all snuggly and happy.
SO…if you have a pic of you, or a pic of you and me that you would like to send with me across the country, I would love it. I’ll try to remember to bring my album to the beach on Friday, and also to the party at Adam’s on Saturday.
I’m looking for stuff like…

…to prove I actually had friends once…
Also stuff like…

…just lovely pics of my lovely homies.
Awards ceremony.
So…Heather wins my genius award of the week. Or at least the ‘Why the hell didn’t I figure that out before?’ award.
One of the drawbacks to wearing glass is that I manage to smudge them about every 5 seconds…especially if I’m involved in some project and unaware of my own corporeal form. I have a couple glasses cleaning sets (spritzy stuff and a microfiber cloth) but they BOTH live in my home…I tried putting one in my bag and it just didn’t work out. However, my old glasses got SO scratched up from me always wiping them on…whatever was closest…that I have been trying my best not to do that with my new ones.
So the other day, Heather and I were driving to Starbucks and my glasses were smudged and I mentioned all that, and that I specifically am trying to avoid dry-wiping them, ’cause that just grinds dirt in…then mused that Giles always seems to be cleaning HIS glasses w/o glasses cleaner or water, and how does he avoid scratched lenses?
…seeing as he does it about every ten seconds, you’d think that I’d be able to find a picture of it online, but noo……
Anyway, Heather then pointed out that he always breathes on the lenses BEFORE polishing them on his tie. ah-HA! Genius!
Um…it’s almost 4am and I’ve been fighting with my computer and working on art projects all day, aside from a break to pay a woman to cause me extreme pain, and my brain is mildly melty.
Sorry.
