I’m so doomed.
I can’t post any pictures as my photoshop is currently in possession of a stick up it’s butt and when I don’t post pictures, people don’t tend to be very interested in my blog.
Yesterday, I even drew a picture in my sketchbook for my blog…but w/o Photoshop, in my sketchbook it stays. Unless I a) set my camera to JPG and take a photo of it and upload the JPG image, or b) use the Linux program, Gimp, that is kind of similar to Photoshop.
So, really…not so much doomed as LAZY.
Yesterday the boy and I were sitting around with nothing to do so we went to Ikea. I love that store. We went on kind of a pre-shopping recon mission–scoping things out and getting ideas, you know?
They had some kitchens there that I really really want. So pretty. I contemplated getting my student loan and then, instead of using it for school, just spending it all at Ikea.
I love their modular wardrobe systems.
….annnnd…all the random little impulse buy stuff.
Being there actually inspired kind of a cool idea, though. The place we are (hopefully) getting has loads of vertical space, though not as much floor space. There was a kitchen setup at Ikea that had a second row of cabinets above the first that was too high to reach from the ground–you needed a stool to get into the second row. So, along with augmenting our kitchen with a rolling island and all the cool wall racks, we are possibly going to get higher cabinets to augment the existing ones.
And we can have bookshelves that go really high and have a slidey bookshelf ladder!
…ok..maybe not quite*that* high….

Ok…boy’s back from the optomitrist (I lost his glasses before we left) so I should go acutally…hang out with him or something…:D
