So Very Dark

So, apparently, the Amber Alert that I got in my email was false–a hoax that is going around.  First of all, I apologize to anyone I sent it to and anyone who saw this on my blog for wasting their time.

Second of all, I find it obnoxious that someone would set up a false Amber Alert.  I think that the AA system is a really great thing–one of those benefits of the information age.  The fact that people would misuse it like that is rather dreadful.  I didn’t even bother to check to make sure that it was a genuine email, as the though that someone would abuse the system like that hadn’t actually occurred to me.

People are jerks.
