What rolls down stairs
alone or in pairs,
and over your neighbor’s dog?
What’s great for a snack,
And fits on your back?
It’s log, log, log

It’s log, it’s log,
It’s big, it’s heavy, it’s wood.
It’s log, it’s log, it’s better than bad, it’s good.”

Everyone wants a log
You’re gonna love it, log
Come on and get your log
Everyone needs a log
log log log

I finished watching season 1 of Gilmore Girls last night.

…it’s soooo much better than Beautiful People.

Both the writing AND the acting are, overall, pretty good…I can get my girlie show on without cringing at the horribly unnatural dialog.

And is it wrong that I’ve spent about half the season rooting for Rory to ditch her small-town boyfriend with floppy hair and go after the rich boy who obviously only picked on her because he liked her from the start?

Oh, and how excited was I that Lorelai’s love interest/Rory’s English teacher is played by ‘Wolf’ of 10th Kingdom?  (I’m sorry…I love that miniseries…I know, I have horrible taste.)

Ok…why am I going on and on about random TV shows, rather than something actually pertinent to my real life?  ‘Cause right now, there is not much happening in my real life.   I am still looking for but not finding a job.  I applied to this coffee shop in the Southside called The Beehive (basically the Aroma’s of Pittsburgh) but I haven’t heard back.  Tomorrow I think I will have to go harass them or something.  I would be great there.  I have experience in customer service and they won’t care that I have tattoos.  WHY WON’T THEY CALL ME?

I keep scanning Craigslist for new stuff, but so far, not finding much.

School stuff is still in flux, so I have nothing new to report there…been trying to get something worked out with my counselor, but so far nothing doing.  Still waiting.

Tonight was supposed to be Briggs’ night off, but he got called in special, but he got to go in late so I still made us a totally yummy pasta thing with fresh tomatoes from his dad’s garden.  It was kind of delicious.

We went down to the Southside Works and drank coffee in the square while a swing band played and then went grocery shopping.

That’s about all the excitement in my life for the moment.

Around the end of next week, mom’s coming into town to drag me to my Aunt and Uncle’s family reunion in Massachusetts, but for right now, I’m a blank canvas.
