I want to know what you think. No, really!

What is your favorite term used to describe the tattoos young women get in the smalls of their backs?

(you know, these–>)

Braiinnnssss….

Okay…to be fair…not as much of a zombie as I had planned on being. Perhaps ’cause I got an hour of extra sleep this morning. Oops!

It’s not like I did it on purpose…Briggs’ phone alarm didn’t go off.

So, maybe I psychically influenced it a *little* bit, but…

Not that I couldn’t go right back to sleep this second but now at least I probably won’t do so out of my own control…and woo-hoo tomorrow’s Friday!

And today I 1) ate ‘real’ breakfast (something somewhat nourishing and nutritional) AND 2) remembered to bring lunch. Much better than yesterday when the meals consisted of a yogurt for breakfast and some rice for dinner.

AND Jessica is here today so she can show me how to do the exciting file-spreadsheeting thing that I’m supposed to be doing!

Okay….gonna drink my coffee now. Later, freaks.

Today’s game of Anywhere But Here

…I wish I was wandering Chinatown, SF with a good friend or two. We would all be highly caffinated, and dolled up for the day in the city. We would buy cheep junk and asian candy and take photos of each other in silly poses and have dim sum for lunch. By early evening we would be exhausted. We would drive back up to Santa Rosa and all change into super comfy clothes, pick up a LaVera pizza and some ice cream, then head to someone’s house, flop on the floor and eat pizza and watch a silly movie.

I like Alanis Morissette’s first album. It’s got good music, it’s grungy and powerful. But after #1 she kept trying to do poor, misunderstood, angry girl rock. It’s hard to be angsty and misunderstood when you are rich, and the music just doesn’t have the same oomph to it. It’s mostly whiny and annoying.

At lunch some guy came up to me and told me I looked like I was in one of those old movies ‘like Mary Poppin’s or sumthin, you know?’ and that he had just had to come over and tell me, and then that he was really high. Then he left me alone so I could listen to Muse and color in my sketchbook.

Now I am eating a ‘Michellinas Lean Gourmet Creamy Parmesan Chicken’. It is suprisingly good….or I’m just really hungry. Or both. the broccli is awesome, and even the frozen ‘may have once been chicken but now has a texture that resembles no chicken I have ever had’ is yummy
