Mysteries of the Universe

How is it that, at 60, David Bowie is still possibly the sexiest man in the world?

Tuesday Morning

rei@work…9/18/2007…9:23am

Tomorrow is talk like a pirate day!  I have to remember to wear pirate garb!  (Sort of…I still have to have work-acceptable clothing.  Grr.  The parrot is probably out.  Of course, I could tell them it’s a RELIGIOUS holiday….hmm…I’ll have to work on it and get back to you.)

I am totally tired today.  I got to bed late on Sunday and thought I would drop off last night no problem, but sure enough, 11:00 came and I was awake and perky.  So today I’m even MORE tired.  3:00 yesterday afternoon I could have slept, no problem!  I could sleep now!  But once the evil day star stops sapping my life-force I have a lot more trouble.  Sleeping at night is unnatural, I tell you!

Of course, by Friday my body adjusts, and come 10:30 or 11:00pm I’m hardly keeping my eyes open.  Then I wake up before 9am on Saturday….but after I get a decent amount of sleep on Friday and Saturday nights, on Sunday my body is back to it’s old tricks and I can’t fall asleep.

It’s a viscious cycle.

I don’t think that there is anything that compairs with the feeling of having an art project I’m doing go well.  When I have an idea and I put it together and it is better than it was in my head, it gives me a glow that lasts for hours, sometimes even days.
