9/21/2007 — 9:16am — not bad so far

So, I TOTALLY overslept this morning…I’m supposed to be here at 8:30.  At 7 I woke up and started my tea, then went back to sleep.  At 8:30 Briggs poked me to let me know that it was 8:30.  (Today is brought to you by the number 8:30.)  I got dressed while Briggs finished making my tea, and by 8:35, I was acutally ready to go.  Since no one REALLY cares what time I get here, I sat and checked my email while I drank my tea.

I got here at 9:10 or so and my boss wasn’t here yet!  So even if she DID care what time I got here, she wasn’t here to see it.  THEN I went to get coffee from the breakroom and there was a fresh bag of Bruegger’s bagels, which is TOTALLY sweet, since I forgot breakfast.

Today is the Monday of my last week.  :)

I need to fill out my app for Barnes and Nobel.  And Ikea.

I watched Art School Confidential last night (ok…last 2 nights…it was too late to finish it on Wednesday.).  It was funny.  And a little traumatic.  I liked it.

I’m going to start re-reading Gloom Cookie.  It’s a very October series.

9/21/2007 — 2:48pm — figures

Since today is payday, I was going to pick up my check, take it to the bank, and then go pay the electric bill.

But.

The checks are unaccountably late today.  They are supposed to be there by noon and they weren’t there by 2:30.

The thing is, I don’t know how late either the bank OR the electric company are opened.  Late enough, I hope.  We’ll see.

I think that today I will leave a little early, to try and catch everyone.

9/21/2007 — 3:32pm — unfair!

Old navy has pleated mini skirts and a tweed jumper right now.  Damn!  I need money!
