Last night, she said…

“I think I may watch Howl’s Moving Castle when I get home” (or something along those lines.  I’m too lazy to look up my actual wording.)

Well…I didn’t.

But I did make rice pudding, which turned out kind of awesome.  AND contains food groups of a sort.

And Briggs and I watched 1) the new Smallville (woo-frickin-hoo.  Are you getting the sarcasm?) and 2) the premier of a show called ‘Chuck’ which was, on the one hand, entertaining, but on the other, has great potential to blatantly ignore rules of reality, technology, etc., in a way that could thoroughly piss me off after watching it for a while.

The coolest thing about today is that I am not working at Mellon Bank anymore.

Seriously, when I was there, I often wished I knew some sort of industrial espionage or could put the information I was handling to some nefarious use JUST TO MAKE THINGS MORE INTERESTING!

The second coolest thing about today is that I get my student ID, supply kit, and all that junk today.

Tonight I’m supposed to go do the 24 hour creative marathon.

Hmm…that’s all for now.

Oh, also, it’s not Heather’s birthday any more so I no longer have to be nice to her.  I think I’ll call and wake her up and insult her.

H-O-R-W-A-R-D!

:D

Who remembers that cartoon “The Noozles”?  It was about a girl who had a stuffed koala bear and when she nuzzled it’s nose, it came to life and they used to play it on Nickelodeon.

Oh wow–I just looked it up to check the spelling, and apparently, it’s Japanese!  It was originally released in Japan, between 1984 and 1987, and then later (1988-1993) aired on American TV.  Heh!

“But why is the coffee always gone?!”

My last day, I finished the job I was working on with half an hour to spare!  Sweet.

However, it’s past 4:30, which means that the person in charge of coffee clean-up today already cleaned up.  Damn.

It’s like they think people no longer need coffee as 5pm approaches.

Fools.

Anyway, 23 minutes and I’ll be shut of this place!  I took my pictures off the cubical walls and keep glancing around to see if I’m leaving anything behind.

Tomorrow I get my school supplies and photo id!  w00t!

Now…what to do with the next 22 minutes….you know, since I can’t spend it drinking coffee like I had planned.

rei@work – 9/27/2007 – 4:39pm

hehe.  photo id.  I meant photo ID, of course…now I’m trying to decide exactly what my photo id would be.  What desires would it heedlessly follow?

I think I may watch Howl’s moving castle when I get home.

counting today.

I don’t want to go and I’m dawdling.

I’m wearing a bathrobe and it’s quarter past 8.

I guess I should go get dressed.

The walk home yesterday was TEH SUX.

More later.

“anywhere but here”:

Today, I want to cuddle under blankets and watch ‘Howl’s Moving Castle’ while eating pancakes gooey with real maple syrup.

Starbucks on the Southside called me earlier to schedule an interview.

More exciting – the manager of Joseph Beth Booksellers had left me a message regarding doing the same.  I haven’t spoken to him yet (when I called he was out) but, have I MENTIONED that I want to work in a bookstore most of all?
