It’s cold tonight

It’s currently about 24 degrees out. The wet fallen leaves on our street have frozen. My toes are still cold from standing outside after game and chatting before we all went our separate ways. It snowed a little while we were playing, but barely enough to make the grass sparkle in places and dust the top of a bush we passed on the way back to the car.

Thus ends my idyllic week…tomorrow I go back to work, and then I have 2 more days to complete the homework I was hoping would be a non-time-consuming snap. (Have I mentioned that I thought wrong?)

Seeing as Thanksgiving just passed, I would like to mention that I am thankful I was not asked to work today.

Tomorrow there is a parade downtown, but I do not foresee us (see: me) getting up early enough to make it downtown and catch it, since it is just a hare before 2am now. I do hope to hit the strip district and hope that Saturday Market is still going, however…although it has occurred to me that Thanksgiving would be a sensible cut-off for such an out-door event. I may have missed it. Oh well, even if I did, I can still hit up the Asian market and restock my freezer with delicious pot-stickers and pork buns.

Well, my teeth are clean and I think that the time to enter my bed has arrived. I bid you all adieu for now.

Hope your Thanksgivings were fantastic and you stuffed yourselves silly (so that I am not the only one).

Tickle me Emo

Alternately funny and disturbing with a strangely catchy song…all is gay at Hogwarts.

Memories…misty water-colored memories…

Kristin sent me a link to this alternate blog I had for about 3 entries about a year and a half ago, and the story about how anime and muffins saved the day. I had totally forgotten about it. It cracked me up. Awesome.
