Tuesday

It’s snowing again today.

<–just a little bit though…not this much.
Last night there was actually a little accumulation…not much, just a powdered-sugar dusting on the ground and fences. Last night I learned something I had never known before (though it makes sense). Snow sparkles like glitter when it falls near lights in the dark! I mean, I’d seen standing, accumulated snow sparkle at night, and I know that snow is crystals, so it makes sense, but I had never seen it. It was pretty magical. I felt like I was in Legend.

<–you can see it, but there’s falling glitter in this (and every) shot.

I got about half of my homework done yesterday. This is the last homework of the quarter (oh, and also some book-readin’) which ends really frickin’ soon.

I got three of four of my projects for Color Theory done yesterday. I frickin’ hate painting.

Too bad one of my classes next semester is ‘Painting’. I have a feeling it might focus a bit on, you know…painting.

Today I have to do my one-point perspective project, which means finding an outside place to sit and draw a building. I need to do dishes and shower first. No room for argument…just HAVE to. Ugh…dirty dirty.

The snow seems to have mostly tapered off for the moment.

Last night our landlord Cameron, who has an apartment right above us, decided that between 3 and 6am was the perfect time to vacuum his house. This did not affect me particularly adversely, as I can sleep though a German air raid, but Briggs did not fair as well. Cameron also had the locks ‘fixed’ on the front and back doors, since all of us tenants were having problems with our keys…but apparently ‘fixed’ means ‘changed’…which is all fine and well for the people who live here that got new keys, but not so much for our postal carrier who’s key no longer opens the front door. I swear…some day she’s just going to march upstairs and kick Cameron right in the nuts. Hmmm…maybe he KNOWS that and that’s why he doesn’t stay here that much.

Ok…time to do dishes!
