I must not give in to my customary Wednesday afternoon nap…too much homework to do. Next week, however, is called on grounds of Thanksgiving, so that should give me a bit more time to work on work.
I re-dyed my hair today…it was growing out (as seen in picture below) into the dark brown and black combination that looks so sloppy. But my pink streaks are now gone away. Ok, by this point they were simply pink tips an inch or so long, but I loved them none-the-less.
<–note, black tips/brown roots. Very not classy.
Mercury continues to improve…still sleeping a lot, but I can’t call that rare for her.
Still on soft food, but was up on the back of the couch today, her old favorite spot.
I got a pink AIP sweatshirt today to go with my charcoal one…perfect lazy day school clothes and also looks adorable with my girly pj bottoms.
Brendan — finally went to Permanni’s for lunch today. The sandwich was good (I got pastrami with cheese) though I felt that the coleslaw was a bit sweet and the fries could have been more salted. And yes, both of the previously mentioned food items were on the sandwich itself, along with the meat, cheese and also slices of tomato. I don’t think I missed anything.
Okay…I’m off to do homework…if I finish a certain amount I have set for myself, I will allow myself nap time, as my body is insisting it is imperative.
Later, skaters.

You know what my favorite thing about Thanksgiving is? They “full turkey meal” sandwiches afterwards…. the ones where you pile on chunks of turkey, stuffing, mashed potatos, gravy, cranberry sauce… so you have a full turkey dinner between two pieces of bread. Thats kinda what I was hoping for in the scenario you just described… pastrami sounds a little boring.
Aww…sorry.
I do like me some post-Thanksgiving turkey sandwiches though…I usually leave off the cranberry sauce, ’cause I have this savory/sweet issue…but turkey, mashed tates, stuffing…ohh! and that green bean casserole stuff…and spicy dijon mustard. Oh, and gravy of course. Mmmm…I’m hungry now.
Maybe it’s just because my family is Italian, but it isn’t a Thanksgiving sandwich without raviolis.
This year my wife decided to have a dry run thanksgiving day to test out her recipes. We soaked the bird in a brine solution she got at William Sonoma it really kept it moist. OMG, the turkey was so good and I get to do it again in a few days!
That sounds delicious.
Who is this?
