wow. It’s started so well.

So I got to work early this morning. First thing, I checked my email, and there was a message from my boss, Linda, basically saying that I need to keep on top of stuff — get invoices sent out, get samples sent out, blah blah blah…basically, last week, since Helen kept giving me these huge giant projects, I kept falling behind on my office paperwork–’cause I’d be right in the middle of it and Helen would poke her head over the wall of my cubical, and in a very Bill Lumbergh-like way (minus the coffee cup) would say, ‘Sooo….were you thinking about heading down to the warehouse any time soon?’ (yeah, helen, just finishing what I’m doing here) ‘Right…well…you see, the thing is, that’s a very important shipment that needs to go out right away, so if you could just go ahead and head down there…’

GRRR!

And. Aparently. Since I put in my 2-week last monday….I wrote that it was ‘effective’ the 7th (next monday) by which *I* meant that as of the 7th I would no longer be here.

But Linda took that to mean that next monday is my last day.

Who has a Monday for a last day?

Anyway, fun work awaits. :P
