Sorry for the super whiny stressy blog yesterday, for anyone who read it.
I’m feeling better today. Both physically and psychologically. Yesterday was just…you know, one of those days, where everything just comes at you at once and you don’t even know which way to look, much less how to catch it all when it gets to you.
Anyway, today I have to finish my huge concept development project. So I’m going to go work on that, but first, I have something cool to show you.
This girl on Deviant Art thought she’d fool around with some Simpson’s fan art, make an anime style drawing of this picture:
Here is her drawing — it’s pretty sick. (I mean that in the ‘awesome’ sense. Not that her drawing is icky.)
Well….with many Simpsons fans out there, and the coolness of this drawing, it’s popularity shot it to the front page of Deviant Art in no time. From there it spread like a virus through blogs and websites, and ended up on the front page of Digg.
Somewhere along the way, Matt Groening himself saw her art, and ended up giving her a job doing the drawings for a more realistic style Simpsons project he was working on.
Anyway, I thought that was a super awesome story and wanted to share it and some of her groovy art.
