This morning, at 7am, Mercury and Nova decided that it was time for us to wake up.
It started with Mercury standing on my dresser, then jumping down onto the bed walking up and meowing at me repeatedly that she was about to literally DIE of starvation any second. So I got up and fed her, then went back to sleep.
Shortly thereafter, she vomited up the food she had wolfed down, climbed back up on the bed and meowed loudly until Briggs got up and fed her.
Then Nova spent about 10 minutes scratching around in the litterbox. Then she played with the little ball-go-round toy as loudly as she could.
<–I think this is actually the exact one we have. Noisy toy.
Then she and Mercury chased each other around the house for a while.
Frickin’ cats. 
I have some very exciting plans for today that I am sure you will all be quite jealous of.
