The finished assassin strip:

Okay, this is a little late in arrival, as I was contemplating getting all of these done before I posted this, but instead I figured I’d just post as I finish them.
Confused?
Sorry.
Our most recent concept development project was:
Make a 4 panel series of drawings that tell a story — black and white, no words. So basically, a 4-panel comic with no dialog or narration. I came up with 5 ideas in class, 4 of which I developed into first drafts which I then showed to my teacher so we could choose the strongest one. However, I kind of liked all 4, so even though I finished the one I had to turn in, I am still working on getting the rest in final form.
Here are my concept sketches:
<–my teacher thought this idea was very cute.
<–I liked this one because it had a very dynamic/action-y feel to it. The assassin is one of the ribbon spinners from my circus group.
<–my teacher claimed I just put this one in so that it wouldn’t seem like I was totally deranged. …but I showed him!
<–This one was pretty much MY least favorite of the 4, but one or two people in my class voted for it and really liked it.
The one that really came through after my rough draft was made however, was the boy with the cat. But maybe that’s just because I made the boy into a zombie, and as Heather says, Zombies make everything better.

Anyway — here is the end result (of course, you can’t see it all that well here, so you should probably go to my Deviantart account and see it THERE):
