So, I have been re-watching Boys Over Flowers (right now we join our hero and heroine embroiled in drama and misunderstanding, but at least Tsucasa stopped short of having Rui and Tsukushi expelled from Eitoku…thanks to a thrilling game of 3 on 3! But does he still have feelings for Tsukushi? And which boy does HER heart truly desire?)
Watching this show brings back fond memories of piling into Kristin’s living room for the near-mandatory weekly girl’s night, the complaints if we started without someone, the reciprocal complaints if someone was late, the cupcakes, the fighting over anime boys…good times, good times. Watching it isn’t quite the same without my girlies to obsess with me.
So I imagine you are here in spirit, snorting in disbelief when Tsukushi says ‘Tsucasa said he loves me…could that mean….he has feelings for me?’
Anyway, since I’m watching the series again, I am required BY LAW to post the link to the super cute mushy ‘The Reason’ Tsukasa/Tsukushi fan vid.
And now I am going to have a dinner probably entirely devoid of nutrition.

<–painting (this is the one my teacher really liked ’cause of the fresh washes. It’s kind of boring, though, and a bit muddy down towards the bottom. You will notice, there was no mud in the original photo.

<–I like how this one came out a lot better…there are surely some technical problems (case in point, the silo farthest to the right….all wiggly along the edge…) but I like my trees, and my sky, and the representations of corn in the foreground. And it feels more dramatic and interesting than the other one.
