Briefly…

Work is work.

Started school on Thursday.  Typography doesn’t seem bad, though it’s a different teacher and seems to somewhat expect students to have learned everything the same and the same way in their previous typography class, even if they had a different teacher. Math class is…math class.  Not bad, not great, though the teacher did get cranky near the end because some sophomoric jerks were beeing rude and disruptive.  Started my homework last night and am having problems with algebraic equations dealing with fractions.  But I sent my teacher an email asking for help, and Briggs’ cousin offered me assistance if I need it, so hopefully the problem will iron itself out soon.

Yesterday, spent large amounts of $$ at Trader Joe’s, so I’m now brokish but we have lots of yummy food from TJs.

<– you know Trader Joe’s is cool when they have a picture of the Flying Spaghetti Monster on one of their signs.

Last night, after math homework, while eating yummy TJs food, we watched the animated collection that is supposed to bridge the gap between Batman Begins and The Dark Knight Returns…because we are planning to go see that tonight.  I hear that it kicks massive a** and that Heath Ledger is ultimately amazing.

Today I am not at work, because we are going to Burgandy’s baby shower.  She is going the natural route (no Fisher Price for her babies) so I got her a set of something I loved as a kid — wooden building blocks.  Like these:

Anyway, I’m running late and need to shower, so I’m out.  Later, skaters!
