If you are going to make a fan video, don’t use clips with subtitles. And don’t leave native audio in. That’s just lazy.

Seriously people…
Lately
Watched Good Luck Chuck. It good luck sucked.

Been reading the crap out of Singularity and it’s pure unfiltered awesome. About this event and quantum physics and very itty bitty black holes and the KGB. It started a little slow, but that was just political background and lots of Russian names.

Had Game last night–we switched things up a bit and played at Ginny’s with prefab characters in the Star Wars universe. It was pretty sweet. I punched numerous people in the head. And Ginny got a Darkside point. hahaha!
<--I kept my blaster set to 'kill'. Stun is for pansies.
For anyone who follows the crack-filled series,
<–printed on paper made from Heroin, I swear.
NEW TWILIGHT NEWS regarding Midnight Sun. Basically, there was an accidental leak, and now a butt-load of people have read the first half of the manuscript, so S.M is kinna upset and not really in the mindset to keep writing a sunshine puppydogs and angst Edward’s story, so she’s putting it on hold for a while. Or possibly forever. BUT, to keep her fans from having to choose between being true to her wishes and the temptation of new chapters, she has posted a direct link to what she has of the manuscript so far and given her blessing, which I think counts as pretty darn classy. And which I don’t doubt she will regret when she gets bitchy flamers sending her emails complaining about the content, the pacing, or any little typo they notice in her UNFINISHED ROUGH manuscript. Anyway…I look forward to reading it and am still holding out the vane hope that Edward’s perspective will allow us insights such as “Yeah, this chick is cute, and smells like fresh cinnamon buns and steak and her clutziness tells my instincts that she’s easily culled out of the herd which makes me hella want her…but SERIOUSLY, could she stop whining for a MINUTE?”
Yeah. Probably not going to happen. But it should.
um…oh! Anna’s (Briggs’ cousin next door) horsie had her baby! We are going to go see it in a little bit. It’s about 2 days old. (awwww!)
<–this is NOT Anna’s horse’s baby. This is a random photo from the INTERNETS. HOWEVER, Briggs and I SHALL take our cameras with us to see said gangly-legged cuteness and hopefully I will later post pictures of the horse I actually saw.
Later today, we are going to go to Burgandy’s and take pictures of HER babies…not quite and long-legged and wobbly as a foal, but cute none-the-less.
The more I hear about this woman:

…the crazier and scarier she sounds. I may actually vote this fall. She freaks me out.
I’ve gotten a little writing done lately but I don’t know if it’s any good.
My cat has been crazy affectionate lately. Almost every time I sit down in my computer chair, she ends up climbing into my lap and curling up in a warm ball of kitty-cat, or using me as a place to sit while she takes a bath. But it’s all good…I regularly get part of the bath too. She seems to think that the inside of my elbows REALLY need exfoliation.
I’ve been missing some peeps in CA.
And that’s pretty much it.
and here are two John Hiatt song Love! fanvids.
P.S. Singularity = all done, and Singularity = frickin’ awesome. Solve for Singularity.
Happy Labor Day weekend, my fellow Proles.
do you think…
…that people with total recall remember all of their dreams in detail?
I had vivid dreams last night, which I drabbled about ineffectually in an early morning blog, but as is always the case, words failed to convey the feeling…crisp nights and a full moon in a lonesome little town that felt like fall and metal patio tables in the street where we would meet at night like gypsies and share cookies in a way that felt like summer camp and like the start of school and summer and halloween and the edge of thanksgiving all at once. Football/soccer/cricket/quiditch games with typically unusual dream-rules and bundled in team colors of red and gold.
Like I said…words fail to convey the feeling.
Work continues to veer towards corporate, which is annoying, but despite early appearances work was almost pleasant today. There were projects to keep me busy and I got to alphabetize and help a very nice older Russian woman. I think she was Russian. I know she was nice.
I’ve been re-watching Heroes, ’cause I love it. I had forgotten how adorably emo Peter Patrelli was in season one.
<–floppy emo hair and rain to hide his tears…;)
<–”no one understands my pain…” Aww…look at the worry-crinkled brow… haha!
<– “Okay…Claude might understand my pain a LITTLE. But not you. You will never understand my pain!”
I was a little sad that he got all cropped in season two, and grew a spine. I kind of liked whiny Peter.
<– “You can’t do that. It’s wrong.”
HAHA! Awesome. Speaking of awesome, the other night Briggs and I watched:
<–You may be asking, “is that a cheesy vampire martial arts movie with bad subtitles/dubbing very little plot, even less plot that actually makes SENSE and a cameo role by Jackie Chan?’
Yes. Yes it is. It’s frickin’ awesome.
While Reeve, number one in the league vampire hunter (they have a league?) battles euro-trash vampires, his sister ends up dating (and stalking) the last prince of the vampire nation and hanging out with him and his manservant, Prada. (yes. Prada.) Then there is an ultimate battle for ultimate power or something. Trust me. You need to see this.
<– vampire prince Kazaf and manservant Prada. In their house. A church.
So, by this point it’s apparent that I really have nothing exciting happening in my life.
I don’t have a clever closing quip, either.
