Makes me giggle

Twilight trailer spoof:

Still, nothing’s new.

Things enjoyed in the past few days:

Doctor Horrible My Little Pony

and Also THESE

Hearing a group of tweens on the escalator today at work discussing in-depth details of Buffy.

“OMG!  And like, when Xander found about the–” “I know, right?!  So awesome!”

Recalling that this video kind of rocks:

I love the cheesy-sci-fi-movie-from-the-70′s-ness of it.

Season 2 of Dexter

<–it feels weird rooting so strongly for a sociopathic serial killer…but he’s just kind of…sweet.

This album:

<–I’ve really been in a MCR mood for the past couple days.  I’ve been trying not to play it to the point that Briggs can’t stand hearing it one more time.

The fact that my review at work today didn’t go terribly — they told me stuff I was doing well and areas I could use improvement, which I pretty much all knew already, and I nodded and agreed and promised to work hard at boosting my weak areas and they didn’t even ask me about the required book that I spent two hours reading last night to make sure I had actually done so before my review.  Of course, if I hadn’t… well, I know that Murphy is at least one of the governing forces in my life, so better safe.

That the weather is cooling down and I’ll see leaves changing colors soon.

Taking responsibility off myself for my coffee habit in realizing that my mom is a coffee enabler. I learned it from watching her, and started when I was 15. Then, I actually stopped drinking it for the most part when my espresso drink intake too often on an empty stomach started to cause me pain. One trip to Massachusetts with her last summer and I rediscovered the joy of plain coffee with cream. Now she has quit drinking it (because she discovered just how heavily addictive it is when she had to go without for a few days) and has sent me the remainder of her supply. Of course, to be fair, I have no problem with my habit. I embrace it. Plus, scientists still haven’t found any way in which caffeine is actually harmful at all. But doesn’t this story make my mom sound like a huge coffee pusher? And this morning, I was dreaming that I was about to have coffee, right before I was awakened by the sound of the coffee grinder. Which is weird, but good in a way — the coffee in my dream was from one of those big stainless-steel carafes that churches and granges have, and would have undoubtedly been weak and low in quality. The non-dream coffee was rich and delicious.

See, I told you nothing was new.  Tune in tomorrow.  Perhaps something will happen.  Better safe, right?
