It never fails to surprise me HOW MUCH I love the song Glycerine.

Thought for the moment
All I gotta say is, ya’ll better appreciate the things I do for you.
That and, just because you are the eternally damned undead doesn’t mean you can ignore the laws of physics.
Yeah. I watched it.

…so you didn’t have to.
It was about what one would expect. I held out a glimmer of hope that the kitchy silly vibe of the first movie would surface, but it was just ALL bad. I don’t know what was worse – the writing, the acting or Cory Feldman’s voice. (Think Christian Bale’s ‘you don’t know me – I’m batman!’ growl)
It had all the cheesiness of the original (and a cameo cover of ‘Cry Little Sister’) but none of the charm, and even worse, no Kiefer Sutherland.
<–the one man who could make a mullet work.
The bleach-blonde bad-boy’s fun-loving wild-bunch vamp coven of LB1 was replaced with what appeared to be a boy band that has partied a little too long and hard on tour this time around, and the illustrious leader resembled nothing so much as burned-out Eurotrash. Instead of playing with his nemisis’s mind over chinese food, like any self-respecting vampire, he mostly just…um well…I guess he mostly just moped around with his hair in his face, sounded drugged out and made out with the main character’s little sis.
Overall, unless you are doing it for the good of others, as I so self-sacrificingly did, I would place this movie firmly on your ‘miss’ list. My eyes and brain are bleeding in harmony.
Oh who am I kidding…I would have watched it anyway.
I’ll simply have to cue up the oldschool movie to watch while I fall asleep so I can cleanse my mind of the sucking.
<–”We agree. Radical to the max.”
