Story of Ra

I’m going to attempt to actually keep this short this week, if for no other reason than because I haven’t had caffeine yet and if this takes too long, my head will be killing me by the time I finish.

I start back to school tomorrow.  I’m mostly excited…except, I realized looking at my schedule last night that while re-arranging my schedule to make it fit with when I get to town, I added a class taught by the woman who taught my typography class last quarter.  KILL.  I don’t have her tomorrow though.  Just one class tomorrow.

I’ve started watching House M.D.  I kind of love it.  I’ve always been a sucker for bizarre medical stuff — ask my mom.

Work is frikin’ killing me.  On Saturday, I wasn’t on the verge of tears, but l was like…on the verge of being on the verge of tears, if that makes sense?  It was just an awful day.  Everyone was in a bad mood and snapping at everyone, and that was on top of the underlying rot that is beginning to prevade my workplace.  And I, working part time, sold more of our store membership cards than anyone else last month…and my boss didn’t even say ‘good job’ or anything, which was pretty frustrating.

I drew some squirells yesterday.  Briggs says they look evil.  He’s right.

I don’t think there’s a lot else going on.  I made cookies and I made pumpkin bread this week.  We are out of catfood today, so the cats may kill and eat me.  The weather’s getting colder and the leaves are getting brighter.  I’m a little down but can’t decide if it’s work-related, health-related, seasonal, chemical or chemically cyclical.  Or perhaps a combination of the above.

Okay, time for tea.
