Tonight, Briggs and I went and saw Juno:

It was totally cute and sweet and funny and Briggs and I found out that Ellen Page is like, 21 and were both incredulous, ’cause she’s an actor that plays teenagers that really LOOKS like she’s 15 or 16.
Anyway, it was well done and not flat and predictable, and I totally want to set up a livingroom set in someone’s front yard now.
Another cute movie about teenage pregnancy:

Also, I want:
or possibly

And I got a new coat at Goodwill for $10 that is very nice, and black wool and calf-length. I also finally got a static discharger (this one until the cute Japanese-tacky one I want is back in stock) and it is totally working. And yes, Brendan, I tried the ‘discharging with a metal object in my possession, like keys’ method with my cigarette case, and that bloody spark jumped FROM the point where I touched it to the door TO my hand, and delivered yet ANOTHER shock so big that my arm almost went numb. Anyway, I haven’t gotten any shocks since I got my new toy, but the one I received when accidentally brushing against one of the stainless steel hangers at work with my arm. Tomorrow I have school and will be putting the capacitor to it’s real test on the door handle of the porch that almost incapacitates me every time I frickin’ touch it.
I’m super achy today…I must have slept wrong. Or Briggs was beating me with bags of oranges while I was sleeping.
Not much else new. DeathNote is instilling in me a determination to become more dramatic in my day-to-day life, especially in eating food. When I snack, people should pause in appreciation of the pure drama of my chomping. (Not ’cause they’re grossed out by my eating habits or food choices. Although I stand by my broccoli wrapped in orange-cream peep. It made the peep better.)
I just finished reading Bloodsucking Fiends and You Suck by Christoper Moore.

They were cute and funny. I enjoyed them. I need to read ‘Lamb’ (Moore’s take on the story of Jesus as told by his best friend.)
I am currently reading:

I haven’t formed a concrete opinion about it yet…so far, this is the story of a somewhat disillusioned junior-high age Chinese girl living in San Francisco and dealing with the problems of not wanting to work in the Chinese restaurant her parents run for ever, having a slutty and selfish best friend, and her own emerging sexuality. We’ll see how it goes.
Finally, any further advice or suggestions regarding my final project for concept development would still be greatly appreciated. ^_^ (see previous blog)

You must have done something wrong. They keys method works just fine. I’ve used it myself on many an occasion. Perhaps you should just stop being so electricly charged?
I’m REALLY electrically charged. Briggs stipulates that it’s because I wear about a gazillion layers, which all rub against each other and create a charge. I think I just have a wicked EM field. Or I wear a lot of layers that rub against each other and create a very big charge.
