Awesome artist

stumbled across while looking through links my Photoshop teacher posted to further our inspiration and navigation in PS.

James Jean

Amazingly awesomely gorgeous art from wallpaper for the Prada stores to illustrations for magazine spreads.  I only WISH I could do this level of work and my head explodes with amazement.

Another stolen link and other things

via James Foreman’s Bullet Point Ballet,

Daydreamers rock the Casbah (if by casbah, I mean medial prefrontal cortex).

In other news, today I watched Sweet Home Alabama (chick-flick week pick #1) and found it unsurprisingly dissapointing.  Country girl goes home and upon seeing her high school sweetheart, old feelings stir — that’s kind of to be expected.  That doesn’t mean she should turn around and dump her pretty darn awesome fiancee over some decades-old chemistry, because, regardless of what the end-credits montage tells us, I say that when the expected squishiness passes, the same problems they had before will still be there…and does she just give up her amazing career to go be a wife and mom?  Whatever.  I still have the joy of last night’s Doctor Who watching with Anna and Aaron to fall back on.

Nova continues to put her very existence in peril.

I’ve been rewatching old House episodes and rediscovering my huge crush on Hugh Laurie.

I planted my sprouted veggies yesterday, and hope that they begin to thrive a bit more living in something other than an egg carton.

Today I have projects:

Homework involving very tedious cutting and pasting (physically, not digitally)

Signing up for classes

Some paperwork stuff

Other things I don’t recall at this moment.
