A few years ago, I made a calender for my mom for Christmas, with a different
piece of my art for each month.
I don’t know how it happened, but somewhere along the line, other people started getting my calenders and seemed to like them well enough, which made me happy.
Last year, due to a busy schedule and an unexpected holiday trip across the country, I had decided that perhaps setting them aside for the year was a 
good plan. Then I learned that, apparently, people liked them more than I realized, when I started getting asked…wait, let me rephrase that…when friends began demanding that they get their calender for the coming year.
So, I made a list, and I checked it at least twice, but regardless of how nice everyone was in making me feel so very appreciated, for some the calenders were very late, and for others they never came at all. And for the record, I 
was one of those others — I had a calender from a strip club up until at least mid-summer.
The issue is that, where as Briggs used to work at a large multi-national copy chain which shall not be named, now he works at a much smaller franchise and is unable to take the copy liberties he once did. The sad truth is, we do actually have to pay for all the calenders we make now, and due to our poor-college-student and poor-guy-supporting-college-student status and the frankly flattering number of calenders I have had requested, we just can’t afford to send them out like we did last year…sadly, until I am a rich illustrator, I’m afraid I have to ask you awesome people for money. 
We aren’t trying to turn a profit or anything…just cover the price of production and shipping…I think it’s going to be about $15 total?..and on the bright side, this way you will definitely get the calender I promised you — the delays and non-deliveries last year were mostly due to our costs/lack of money.
If you DON’T want to pay me for a calender, or you just can’t right now, I totally understand and will NOT be at all offended, but if you do, please let me know. Briggs suggested that we could even just set up a pay-pal account and stick the link in here to make everything quick and easy. Maybe I can even get them sent out before February this year.
I’ve always thought you needed to charge for them AND turn a profit. Set up a PayPal account, and I will definitely order one. I missed having your calendar on my wall. I might even buy one for my mom for Christmas, unless that’s Heather’s plan. She adores your calendars too.
If any of my Deviant Art watchers want to buy one, they can pay me extra…but seeing as they are something I would prefer to give as gifts to my friends and family, I certainly don’t want to charge beyond what it costs me to get them to you. *hug*

Not yet, but Briggs said that setting up an account would probably be the easiest thing for everyone, so we should soon.
Hey I’m trying to get calendars printed as well for my Guns & Girls project, I’m researching methods to get them printed as cheaply as possible for much the same reason. So maybe we can team up and look at print services online? perhaps we can find a print company that offers competitive pricing ?

Ok, I want two for sure. When you have PayPal set up, leave me a FB message. Or I could mail you a check. Do you have a ballpark for when they might be sent? Also, could you email me one picture from the calendar so I can give that to my parents as a preview for their Christmas present? So excited! I missed your calendar this year!
No problem on all of the above…Briggs checked and my old Paypal account is still totally active, we just need to set up a link and stuff, which we should be able to do this weekend…they should be sent (hopefully) by the end of the year. And yes, of course I’ll send you a picture.
